 Terms & Conditions for Inspection and associated works.

Enquiry, Availability & Limitation of Obligation - Availability is quoted at the time of the enquiry and no commitment, undertaking or obligation is given unless expressly stated. All assignments shall be re-confirmed prior to commencement and no liability shall be assigned should that availability no longer exist. Assignments are accepted and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Inspection Assignments are accepted on the understanding of the following terms: Cancellation Policy - Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled inspection will incur a cancellation charge. The amount charged will be proportional to the notice period provided, reflecting the loss of allocated time and potential travel or advance/preparatory expenses already incurred. Provision of Information - All relevant documentation—including Scope of Works, specifications, quality requirements, drawings, inspection checklists, customer criteria, and any applicable standards—must be provided no less than 24 hours before the scheduled inspection. Failure to do so may result in the postponement of the inspection or an incomplete assessment, for which the inspector cannot be held responsible. Notification of Special Requirements or Existing Concerns - If there are any special requirements, areas of interest or concern, known non-conformities, or existing issues that may affect the inspection process or outcome, the client is responsible for notifying the inspector at least 24 hours in advance. Scope and Limitations - The inspector will carry out the assignment in accordance with the scope agreed prior to commencement. The  document with precedence in this case shall be the NOI, RFI or other similar document used as the basis for notifying the inspection or provided as the basis for quoting against. Any requests to expand or amend the scope after quotation, prior to or during the during the inspection may require additional time or a follow-up visit, subject to availability, and may have a cost impact. Site Access and Safety - It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the inspection area is accessible, safe, and compliant with all relevant UK health and safety legislation. Appropriate PPE, escort (if required), and induction should be arranged in advance if necessary. Reporting - The findings of the inspection will be documented in a formal report, which will reflect the conditions and information made available at the time of the inspection. The inspector will not be held liable for any omissions, errors, or oversights resulting from incomplete or delayed information provided by the client. Any required formats or templates shall be provided well in advance of the assignment date to enable any additional reporting requirements to be assessed. certain reporting requirements, for example any electronic reporting system that requires training or familiarisation, may incur a cost impact. Jurisdiction - All activities are conducted under UK law and subject to the relevant British, IEC, ISO or other internationally accepted Standards and quality practices applicable to the inspection scope. By proceeding with the assignment, the client confirms acceptance of these terms.
